Before PowerPlant, it was sometimes difficult to get a stand of peas or beans to last. As soon as the plants were an inch or two high, the deer grazed it down and that was the end of it. PowerPlant helps solve the overgrazing problem by using a special mix of high-protein annuals that better withstand heavy early grazing and then continue to thrive, even in summer heat. The heart of PowerPlant is a high-protein forage soybean that produces big, succulent leaves and beans that deer love. Along with irresistible taste, your deer get ample amounts of antler-building protein. The forage soybeans in the PowerPlant mix climb and can reach 6 feet in height. The mix also contains taller plants to give the vines something to climb on. PowerPlant also contains Lab-Lab for even more drought tolerance. PowerPlant not only provides tons of high-quality forage but attractive bedding areas as well. After surviving the early heavy-grazing phase, PowerPlant goes on to provide excellent nutrition for the rest of the year. In the fall, when the plants mature, the deer will continue to graze the bean and pea seeds until the plot is totally exhausted.
The wide variety of plants in the mix makes PowerPlant a very versatile blend. If you’ve been troubled by low yields and overgrazing, PowerPlant can help solve your problems.
How we recommend using this product:
We think of PowerPlant as a cover first. Even though it provides quality forage, we have had the heaviest browsing when a strip is planted adjacent to Imperial Clover, Alfa-Rack or Buck Forage Oats.
