Mid Vermont Youth Deer Hunting Weekend Celebration

A free celebration for signed up Youth Hunters and their mentor will be held at Neshobe Sportsman Club on Frog Hollow Road in Forestdale, VT. The event starts at 1:00 pm on November 5, 2006 with a free barbecue for all signed up Youth Hunters and their mentors. Food will be on sale for all others who wish to attend.

Any youth hunter holding a valid 2006 Vermont youth deer tag must pre-register at Daves Forestdale Grocery Store in Forestdale, VT. Registration will be October 1st to November 3rd, parent or guardian must also sign Registration Form. Daves Forestdale Market hours are: Monday – Thursday 6:30 am – 8:00 pm, Friday 6:30 am – 9:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am – 9:00 pm, Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Random drawings for Lifetime Hunting licenses and other prizes for signed up Youth Hunters will start at 3:30 pm on November 5, 2006 at Neshobe Sportsman Club on Frog Hollow Road in Forestdale, VT. PLEASE NOTE that this is not a competition, signed up Youth Hunters DO NOT HAVE TO HARVEST A DEER TO WIN prizes, but they must be present at the drawing. Winners who already have a Lifetime License will receive a prize of lesser value. Any deer harvested may be reported at Neshobe Sportsman Club all day November 4 and will receive free photos of themselves with their deer.

All signed up Youth Hunters are asked to bring (to the Celebration at Neshobe Sportsman Club on November 5th) a non perishable food item which will be donated to our local food shelter.
